These come alive with a reasonably good headphone amp 5 stars Without an amp they are just ok.

I have a few pro-grade IEMs that I've used for drums in the past. They work...but not something you'd just sit and listen to music for hours with. These are! For $150 they're astounding. These are about on par with, say, the Mackie MP-320 (twice the price!), but with a smidge more bass extension. The highs on these were a bit sibilant at first, but seems to be taming nicely with some break-in time.

Superb Sound Quality on a budget!

These earbuds sound so clear, and beautiful (music wise) I have put them through hell and back, using them 8+ hours a day. Completely sound proof, if you want to just listen to music, and forget about the world, these are it.

At 70 years old and trying to play again as a live musician in the future where everyone uses these to hear each other on stage. Saw a video on the Planar designs and was sold to picked these to try. Been using live now for months. Great sound very efficient so battery amp lasts longer. Comes with extra ears pads, wires, cleaner, etc in a fine little case so more than just the in-ears for the price. You can see makers have pride. Recommended

The in-ear headphones are amazing! Very comfortable, good fit in the ear, perfect size! As for the sound, I wasn't really prepared for the sound quality it shows! Deep, punchy bass, clear mids and bright highs absolutely complete each other! An incredible acquisition for the stages, concerts, and tv shows that I perform. Extremely satisfied with the quality and technology presented!
